Manitoba Arts NetworkMANITOBA ARTS NETWORKVISUAL ARTS PROGRAMPROGRAM INFORMATIONThis program began as a coalition of rural gallery representatives in the Spring of 1985, and was known as VASE (Visual Arts Shared Exhibitions). Since that time, the Visual Arts Program has become one of the Manitoba Arts Network's primary programs and has representation from community based gallery spaces across rural Manitoba. The Visual Arts program coordinates, and tours visual art exhibitions throughout rural and remote Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Each of these exhibitions is enhanced by an educational component which provides schools, libraries, and community groups access to visual arts education.
