Visual Arts at Manitoba Arts Network incorporates a number of different exhibition and developmental programs. Our core programming includes an extensive and varied schedule of touring exhibitions, a rural mentorship outreach program and the annual Rural & Northern Art Show in Winnipeg.

RURAL ART MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (for Southeastern Manitoba)

  • This 5-month mentorship program with Mentors Jazz de Montigny and Cameron Forbes will culminate with the exhibition, Authentic Transformation, featuring the participating Mentees, Patricia Penner, Niverville, Sol Desharnais, St. Pierre-Jolys, Lori Zébière, Garson and Margaret Korlak, Whitemouth.

THE 10th ANNUAL RURAL & NORTHERN ART SHOW

PAVILION GALLERY MUSEUM

September 4 to 24, 2012

  • A new partnership with The Assiniboine Park Conservance now means a long term home for the  Rural & Northern Art Show in two adjacent galleries in Assiniboine Park. The 2nd floor gallery in the Pavilion Gallery Museum will feature work selected by 6 regional juries. The Conservatory Foyer will hold selected work by younger Manitoba artists.
