Manitoba Presenters Directory 2011-2012 (PDF)

All presenters in Manitoba's regions have access to the the services of the Performing Arts Program. For members of the Manitoba Arts Network in Southern Manitoba, the fee to participate in a block booking is 5% of the performance fee; for a southern non-member the fee is 7.5%. For Manitoba Arts Network members in Northern Manitoba, the fee is a flat $100 per year. The fee for members to use the services of the coordinator to assist with the booking of a single performance, is 2.5%.

The benefits of Membership in the Manitoba Arts Network include committee meetings with the coordinator of the Performing Arts program who's role is to:

    • share information about artists interested in touring in Manitoba with presenters.
    •  
    • act as a liaison between artists/agents and presenters to arrange dates for the block booking of tours.
    •  
    • negotiate and establish block booking fees with the performer.
    •  
    • assist presenters with access to artists' promotional material.
    •  
    • assist performers with information on travel, community contacts and venue addresses.
    •  
    • publish annually a Performance Touring Directory and an updated Manitoba Presenters Directory.
