ABOUT US:

OUR BACKGROUND

Our previous name was Manitoba Association of Community Arts Councils Inc., which incorporated in 1984. In 2009, we legally became Manitoba Arts Network Inc.

The Manitoba Arts Network is the provincial programming body representing community arts councils and community arts programming organizations throughout Manitoba.

Our mission is to foster arts and culture in rural and northern Manitoba. The programs and services of the Manitoba Arts Network are both promotional and developmental.

  • All established community arts organizations in the province of Manitoba are eligible for full partnership. The annual fee is $100.
  • Associate memberships are available to community presenters and to art galleries for an annual fee of $75.

We operate with a board and committee structure. Our Board is made up of representatives of member councils, and our committees are made up of member organization representatives and individual artists.
